What is Bank Identity - BankID?
It is a project of Czech banks under the umbrella of the Czech Banking Association, the aim of which is to enable Czech banks to offer their customers identity verification services, signing documents or logging into various Internet services. Similar services are available, for example, in Scandinavian countries.
What are the advantages of combining BankID and Signi?
Signi customers need to do almost nothing to use their bank identity. There is no need to integrate with BankID services, they "only" need to set up the necessary data in Signi to use its services.
Document proposers have a complete corporate document signing environment in Signi for proposing documents for signature including signature scenarios, controlled distribution to everyone inside and outside the company, registration and retrieval of signed documents, long-term archiving of e-documents or integration with various systems.
For those identifying or signing who do not have access to Bank Identity services, they can use alternative methods in Signi such as Signi Identification or Biometric or Qualified Signatures. In doing so, users still use the same application.
The combination of Bank Identity with Signi brings maximum ease of deployment and therefore fast ROI.

Which services does BankID Signi make available and how?
Signi is linked to BankID services and offers combined services:
What is the relationship between BankID and Signi?
Signi is one of BankID's partners. What does this mean specifically?
Access via programmatic vs. user interface
BankID provides its services in the form of a programmatic interface called API. It does not assume direct user access.
Signi is one of the services that instead provides a user interface for remote identification, signing and archiving of electronic documents and offers the use of BankID services as one of the implementation options.
Signi as a fast and cheap way to BankID
While direct integration to BankID services is particularly affordable for large companies,
via Signi, everyone can use BankID services - large companies, medium and smaller companies, small businesses and individuals
with zero investment costs and "instantly", just set up an account on Signi and have the relevant service activated.
Do I need to have a contract with BankID?
In most cases, it's up to you what's more convenient for you
Either Signi will resell and re-bill your BankID services or
you enter into your own contract with BankID, pay for its services yourself, and only enter your BankID connection information into Signi for use in Signi.
However, if you are AML obligated, you are required by law to contract directly with BankID as the provider of BankID remote identification services. Again, to use Signi, you only enter your information into Signi to link to BankID..
