Custom email

Modified on Tue, 11 Jun at 5:17 PM

In this day and age of spamming and phishing, it can be confusing for email recipients if they receive emails sent from a different domain than your organization's domain. Send all emails related to document signing from your domain with the Custom Email feature.

During the signing process, Signi sends various email messages to signers - signature or identification prompts, reminders, resulting signed documents, etc. By default, these messages are sent with the email address [email protected]. The domain of the email sender does not correspond to your organization.

The extension feature Custom Email will enhance the credibility of your communications. When activated, messages are sent from your organization's email address. To set up the feature, we only need to know your sending domain and address. We will then send you the necessary settings for your domain as part of setting up the service. Setting up your domain correctly will also ensure increased deliverability of emails relating to your document signatures.

Tip: It is good practice to choose a different sending domain than your main domain used for e-mail communication of individual members of your organization, e.g. m.company.com instead of company.com, etc.

By default, the sender's email address is from the signi.com domain, specifically [email protected]
When using the Custom Email feature, the sender's email address is from the sender's domain.
