In today's world of spam and phishing, it can be confusing for email recipients if they receive emails sent from a domain other than your organization's domain. The Custom email feature allows you to send all emails related to document signing from your own domain.
During the signing process, Signi sends signers various email messages — requests to sign or identify, reminders, the resulting signed documents, and so on. By default, these messages are sent from the email address system@m.signi.com. The sender's email domain does not match your organization.
The optional Custom email feature increases the trustworthiness of your communication. When activated, messages are sent from your organization's email address. To set up the feature, we only need to know your sending domain and address. We will then send you the materials for the necessary settings of your domain as part of setting up the service. By configuring your domain correctly, you will also ensure improved deliverability of emails related to the signing of your documents.
Tip: A good practice is to choose a sending domain different from your main domain used for the email communication of individual members of your organization, e.g. m.company.com instead of company.com, etc.

By default, the sender's email address is from the signi.com domain, specifically system@m.signi.com.

When using the Custom email feature, the sender's email address is from your organization's domain.
