Acceptance of a Document for Signing – Registered Users

Modified on Tue, 11 Jun at 9:44 AM

If you receive a proposal for a new document from the counterparty as a user of our application, you will receive a notification via email and possibly an SMS message on your phone. Additionally, the document will be displayed in your workspace, under the section "Awaiting My Signature."

When you click on the "Awaiting My Signature" section, you will see a selection of available documents:

After you open the document by clicking on it, you will see its preview. You will then have the option to reject it or proceed directly to signing.

Once you click the "Sign" button, you will undergo 2FA verification, during which you will be asked to enter your phone number. After that, we will send you a PIN code (if you haven't provided this contact information in your account settings).

The SMS message will be in the following format:

In the next step, you will be prompted to enter the PIN code into the application:

If entering the PIN code is successful, you will be redirected to the signing field. You can sign using your finger, stylus, or the touchpad on your laptop. If you are not satisfied with the resulting signature, you can remove it and start over.

Once you are satisfied, click on the "Sign" button.

(If you have previously saved a standard signature in your account settings, it will be loaded automatically, and you will only need to confirm the signature's placement.)

In the last step, you will once again see the entire document, this time with your signature included. If you agree with everything, click on the "Finish" button.

At Signi, the standard method is to use dynamic biometric signatures with two-factor authentication. However, Signi also allows for signing with various types of signatures. The signing process may vary slightly depending on the chosen signature type.

On the final screen, you will be informed that the entire process has been successfully completed. The document with your signature has been sent to the counterparty, and we haven't forgotten about a copy for you; you'll find it in your email. You can download it in PDF format.

The signed document will also be saved in the application under the Closed Documents section.
