How to send an offer from the web, bot or mobile app for signing. Legally binding. Simple.

Do you need clients to fill out a simple form on your website, go through a wizard or branch via a chatbot, and after submitting it, a specific document or set of documents is sent to them for signature? Does the resulting signed document need to have normal legal binding force and do you need both you and your counterparty to have it stored?  There's nothing simpler than that. Use Signi.

How does connecting a website, bot or mobile app to Signi work?

  1. The interested party fills in their personal and other data, e.g. in a regular web form, via a bot or mobile app, and then simply sends it to a unique email or web address, or calls the Signi API directly.
  2. Once completed, the candidate receives an SMS and an email with a link to a page where, after 2-factor authentication via SMS, they can read the document or set of documents and sign them, see examples here. They don't need any application for this, they just need a web browser.
  3. All signatories get the resulting signed document in their email, you can have it saved to some file storage.

After all, try it yourself on https://signi.com/en/signature/.

What is needed for this?

  • A form created on your website through which users enter the necessary data.
  • A created account on www.signi.com and purchased documents for individual signatures, or a monthly plan for a certain volume of signatures per month.
  • A created template document(s) in Signi, which tells you where in the document the various data from the form will be placed, or rules on what parts of the document to show or hide when making various choices on the form.
  • Var 1 - Direct Signi API call - If webmasters have experience with REST API calls, they can pass web form data directly through the Signi API, see End point description and Example. This puts webmasters in control and is the easiest way to do it.
  • Option 2 - Dedicated email or URL/webhook from Signi - Alternatively, Signi will provide a dedicated email or URL to be used to send data from the form. The prepared form is then only modified by the webmaster to send the data to the given email or URL. The advantage is that other steps can be set up within the integration scenario setup in the Integromat integration service used -writing data from the form to a Google Sheet, sending an email to merchants with the form data, writing tasks to the CR system, etc.
