Acceptance of a Document for Signing – Unregistered Users

Modified on Tue, 11 Jun at 9:38 AM

Delivery of a new document for signature.

This could be your first encounter with Signi. Someone who already uses our application has simply prepared a document for you to sign as the counterparty.

In such a situation, you will receive the following message to your email address:

If the company that sent you the document to sign uses application branding, you will see their logo instead of the Signi.com logo. Button colors may also be different.

Once you click the link under the View Document button, you will be taken to the following screen:

At this point, you can either view the document or reject it.
If you wish to view the document and potentially sign it, open it by clicking on the "View Document" button.

It's possible that before signing and viewing the contract itself, you'll be prompted to confirm the accuracy of the information used in the document's header, which was filled in by the proposing party.
These include:

  • Name
  • Surname
  • Date of Birth
  • Street and house number
  • City
  • ZIP Code

Once you've saved the header, you'll be redirected to the final preview of the document. Review it carefully.

If you decide to sign the document, the process is straightforward.

Either click on the link in the yellow field to go to the signing location:

or select the Sign button directly:

You will be redirected again, this time for 2FA verification. We kindly ask you to fill in your phone number, to which we will subsequently send a verification PIN code.

The phone number may already be filled in beforehand by the Document Proposer.

We will send an SMS message to your phone number in the following format:

You will also be prompted to enter this code. If you haven't received the code, you can request it to be resent. You can also change your phone number.

If entering the PIN code is successful, you will be redirected to the signature field. You can sign using your finger, stylus, or laptop touchpad. If you are not satisfied with the resulting signature, you can remove it and start over

If the place and date details are not pre-filled on the document, you will be asked to include them when signing:

After filling in the place, date and signature, confirm the insertion by clicking on the Sign button.

In Signi, the standard is to use dynamic biometric signatures with two-factor authentication. However, Signi allows signing with various types of signatures. The signing process may then vary slightly depending on the selected signature type.

On the final screen, you will be informed that the entire process has been successfully completed. We have sent the document with your signature to the counterparty, and we haven't forgotten to provide you with a copy; you will find it in your email. You can download it in PDF format. If you would like to continue signing documents electronically, do not hesitate to register with the Signi.com application. You will receive the first three signatures for free.
