Role of the signatory proposers

Modified on Tue, 11 Jun at 3:18 PM

Does your company have documents that can be signed by anyone on the team, a department head can sign in place of an absent specialist, any 2 of the 3 statutory officers can sign? You can cover these situations using the Role of Signatory Drafters feature.

Specifying and assigning roles

The first step is to invite colleagues to the team in a given workspace and, in addition to their rights, also assign them a position = role in the company (in this case "Managing Director").

If you have not yet entered a role, type the name of the role in the role selection box and confirm the role by clicking the link.

Using the role in a signature scenario

Upload the selected document to the application and click on "Create Proposal".

The document header defaults to the logged-in user as the Proposer.

This needs to be deleted with the trash icon at the end of the record.

After removing the proposer, click Add another signatory.

Then click on "roles" and select the position of the person who should sign the document:

After selecting a position, click on the "Continue to document content" button and then insert the signature fields in the standard way. To send the document, click on the "Send for signature" button.

Signing by someone in the role

Next, each person who holds a role/position in your company will be informed that the document is awaiting signature.

The moment one of them signs the document, the document will be closed and the reference to it will no longer be valid for the others.

If you are interested in this feature, please email us at help@signi.com and we will be happy to make it available to you!

Would you be interested in a similar function for counterparties, where it may also not be obvious who exactly will be signing for the counterparties? We are working on the feature, let us know you are interested at help@signi.com.
