Editing the document

Modified on Tue, 11 Jun at 2:12 PM

If the document has not yet been signed by all parties, it can be modified.
You can change the document header, counterparties and the text of the whole document.

In the list of documents on the left, select the document you want to change and simply click on its name.

The document will be displayed in the preview and on the top right above it we will see the available options for actions.

Let's select the second option in the list, namely Edit Document.

Signi guarantees that the attached signatures belong only to the document and not to any other document, therefore signatures that have already been placed on the document must be removed in case of changes. This is because it is already a new document.

The system will alert you to this fact:

You will then be shown a preview of the document in the Document content item.

At this point, you can completely replace the uploaded document with another by clicking Change Document,

This will prompt you to upload a brand new document.

In case you only need to change the Header or the signer of the document, just click on the first icon in the sequence above the document preview, namely the Header.

Next, you proceed in the standard way - save the signature fields and send the document for signature.
