Working with multiple workspaces

In Signi, you can create any number of workspaces.

Multiple workspaces can be used for:

• different departments within a company,

• different countries within a group,

• managing multiple companies if you are a holding or perhaps a personnel, accounting, or marketing agency working for multiple clients,

each workspace can have its specific team, settings, different documents, and contact persons.

Creating a workspace

You can create a new workspace by clicking on the arrow next to the name of the existing workspace at the top left. Then, additional options will expand, where, in addition to the settings of the current workspace, you will see the option to create a new one. Simply click on + Create new workspace.

If you want to have the option to invite people to the team in that workspace, you need to set it up as a legal entity. Otherwise, the team option will not be available in the new workspace.

As an administrator/owner of the account, you are automatically a member of the team of all workspaces created under that account.

We recommend creating new workspaces exclusively from the main account in Signi, not from individual user accounts.

In the new workspace, you can:

• configuring the workspace,
• invite people from the relevant team.

Please note that if you are using any of Signi's advanced features, you will need to set them up in the newly created workspaces as well. Contact us at help@signi.com.

You can also rename the workspace in the "Signing Identity" section under the "Workspace Name" column.

Deleting a workspace

If you haven't closed any documents in a particular workspace yet, you can easily delete this workspace from any tab in the workspace settings (in signing identity, team, or in settings as shown in the image below). 

You'll always find this option at the bottom of the page, marked in red "Delete workspace":
