How do I set up my Signi environment for integration?

Modified on Thu, 13 Jun at 9:25 AM

  1. Create a master account on Signi, which will be the owner of all your workspaces on Signi - see the procedure for Creating an account and logging into the application for the first time. We recommend that you create a Signi master account under an email address not for a specific person, but for an email address like info@company.com orsigni@company.com . This does not have to be a direct email account, which is often paid for, just an email group that someone on the team is included in. It is essential that someone on the team can confirm the registration email sent from Signi.

  2. When an account is created on Signi, a workspace is automatically created for the account creator. Ignore this. Set up a workspace for integration testing and training, we recommend the name DEMO and one production workspace for the company or multiple workspaces for individual agencies in your company e.g. MARKETING, SALES, HR, SOURCING, ADMIN, individual countries etc. see Creating multiple workspaces. This way you will not mix operational data with development or testing data. Attention! In all cases, the workspace must be a legal entity workspace so that there is an opportunity to make the workspace available to the wider team.

  3. Email us at sales@signi.com, to make the Signi API available.

  4. Once the Signi API is enabled, generate an API key for the test and production workspace that is used for authentication when calling Signi via the API. Then use the Signi API to submit documents for signing, check the status of signing, download signed documents, etc.

Just want to try out the Signi API, browse the Signi API call examples and send what you need from Postman and co.
