ℹ️ The new version of Signi verification will be released to production during September 2026. Until then, the screens in the app may differ slightly from the description.
When the counterparty verifies themselves, Signi can take the data obtained during verification — from an identity document or from bank identity (BankID) — and automatically fill it into a document created from a template. This means no one has to manually retype the name, date of birth, personal identification number, or address, and the data in the document matches what was actually verified.
How to do it
- Prepare a template with fill-in fields — in the document template, create fields and name them exactly according to the tables below (e.g.
bankid::firstName). How to work with templates is described in the article How to create a new document template. - Set up counterparty verification for the document — see Document with counterparty verification.
- The counterparty completes verification — once finished, Signi fills the template fields with the data from the verification.
