Operation on premise and in private cloud

Modified on Tue, 11 Jun at 4:27 PM

Signi is a cloud service by default. It has the advantage of zero requirements for provisioning on the user side, no need for skilled IT resources. Operating costs are spread over a large number of customers i.e. they are low.

In some cases, however, Signi needs to be run on its own corporate infrastructure - either on its own servers or possibly on a private corporate cloud. Signi is prepared for these situations as well.

There is also a compromise option where, although the cloud-based Signi is used, the documents to be signed are stored there only for the time necessary - until everyone who has a document has signed. At that point, the PDFs are sent to the corporate applications and deleted from Signi. This keeps large numbers of corporate documents out of the direct control of corporate IT for long periods of time
