Multi-step signing via API

Modified on Thu, 13 Jun at 10:24 AM

For complex signing scenarios, the signing process needs to be managed by an integrated system instead of Signi. This can take into account complex signature rules resulting from complex organisational structures, complex proxy rules and so on. In this case, signatures are added to the document step by step.

Specifically, this means that:

  1. The document is first passed to the 1st signer for signature, then the document with one signature is passed to the 2nd signer for signature, etc. It is necessary that when the first signatories sign, the document is not closed against changes, so that subsequent signatures can be inserted. The content of the document remains unchanged.

  2. Only when the last signatory signs the document is closed against changes.

Multi-step signing with integrated application.

What does such a handover via Signi API look like? Use the lock_after_seal": true / false and call the API multiple times
