Document signature via SMS PIN

Modified on Tue, 11 Jun at 11:36 AM

For some types of transactions, such as signing a delivery note for a barrel of water worth hundreds of crowns, simple, cheap and quick confirmation is most important. One option is to use a signature via SMS PIN.

Specifying the signature type when designing a document

Various options can be set in Signi for client confirmation in the signature scenario.

Signing only by SMS PIN means that the counterparty at the moment of confirming the received document will not have to physically sign it with a finger or stylus via the used touch device, but will only confirm it by inserting a 4-digit pin. This option can be selected under the counterparty's name in the drop-down list. This option is only available to the counterparties, not to the Proposer/Document Creator.

One of the signing options "Signs with SMS PIN".

Signature

Similar to other signature types, the signer presses "Sign" on the document.

Optionally, the person signing for the counterparty can enter his/her phone number, i.e. it is not necessary to know it in advance.

By entering the sent PIN, the signer approves the insertion of his/her name as an e-signature into the document.

Signed document

The name and surname of the signer then appears in the document as their e-signature, see the definition of e-signature.

Record in the audit trail

The Audit Trail documents the signatures confirmed via SMS.
