When the signers are together — at a branch, in a meeting — they can sign the document one after another on a single device, without waiting for emails. There are two options.
Entire document on one device
In settings, enable one_device — all counterparties then sign on the proposer's device:
"settings": { "one_device": true }
The counterparties won't receive their own signing links. This works well in combination with signing in an integrated app.
Only selected people on one device
Mark specific people with the one_device field — those set to true sign on the shared device; those set to false receive their own prompt by email:
{
"people": [
{ "is_proposer": true, "one_device": true, "email": "vas@email.cz", "contract_role": "sign",
"positions": [ { "x": 30, "y": 80, "page": 0 } ] },
{ "is_proposer": false, "one_device": true, "email": "protistrana@email.cz", "contract_role": "sign",
"first_name": "Jan", "last_name": "Novák", "person_type": "nature",
"positions": [ { "x": 55, "y": 80, "page": 0 } ] },
{ "is_proposer": false, "one_device": false, "email": "reditel@email.cz", "contract_role": "sign",
"first_name": "Petr", "last_name": "Svoboda", "person_type": "nature",
"positions": [ { "x": 80, "y": 80, "page": 0 } ] }
],
"file": "uploaded_file_key"
}
The response shows this in the links — whoever signs on the shared device has no link of their own:
{
"contract_id": 1234567,
"state": "pending",
"notifications": [
{ "email": "vas@email.cz",
"links": { "contract": "https://app.signi.com/dashboard/workspace/…/documents/1234567" } },
{ "email": "protistrana@email.cz",
"links": { "contract": "" } },
{ "email": "reditel@email.cz",
"links": { "contract": "https://app.signi.com/signing/…/received" } }
]
}
In the example, the proposer and Jan Novák sign together on the proposer's device; Petr Svoboda receives a standard prompt by email.
