Signing with a certificate in Adobe Reader

If you need to sign a document outside of Signi using Adobe, follow these steps:

1. Open the document in Signi

  • Log in to your Signi account.

  • Select the desired document and open it.

  • Find the Sign field

2. Select the "Sign outside Signi" option

  • Click the signature field.

  • In the menu, select the Sign outside Signi option.

  • Download the document to your computer.

3. Open the document in Adobe Acrobat Reader

  • Find the downloaded file on your computer and open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader.

  • In the document, again locate the field designated for the signature.

4. Sign the document with your certificate

  • Click the signature field.

  • A prompt will appear to select a digital certificate – choose the one you want to use.

  • Insert the signature into the document following Adobe's instructions.

5. Save and upload the document back to Signi

  • After inserting the signature, save the document (e.g. using File > Save).

  • Return to the Signi interface.

  • Upload the signed document back.

Click the Send button to complete the process.

Done!
