What are electronic certificates

Electronic certificates represent one of the technological options for signing documents electronically.

Thanks to a certificate issued by an accredited provider, it can be demonstrated with a high degree of reliability that the document was indeed signed by a specific person.

On the other hand, this technology comes with certain technical and organizational demands:

• a more complex process of obtaining the certificate,

• higher financial costs.
